If you have a bunch of files that you wrote at different times, and you want to change the file names to put them in a cohesive order, this freeware is for you. It makes fast work of this chore, enabling you to add a custom word, phrase, or incremental number to the beginning or end of the file name, or to replace a series of characters with any other word or phrase. Its three panes allow you to select a path, view the current file’s contents, and check your changed file names.
I’ve been using this for several years and am very happy with it.
